AI vs Human Writer

In 2024 I ran a public experiment: can people tell AI writing from human writing? More than 1,400 participants read 25 text samples and guessed which was which.

The average score was 13.66 out of 25. That is 54.6% accuracy, barely better than flipping a coin. The results became the backbone of my Vilnius AI Summit keynote, When AI Writes Better Than Human.
